I was originally going to call this post "half-time numbers" seeing as how it's been six months of a one year trip. However it looks more like this trip will be 2 years so instead it's going to be first quarter. Here I will post some numbers about my journey thus far. I have kept track of these things in my journal so they should all be acurate.

Caves Visited: 4 (I'm counting Cappadocia as one so it doesn't skew the numbers)
Castles Visited: 7
Religious Buildings Visited: 25
Cities Visited: 42
Countries Visited: 14

Hi Will! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I'm sure it was memorable, and am looking forward to reading about New Years in Turkey. I traveled a lot growing up, but never like you are doing now, and I really like reading about it from your perspective, thanks! The numbers are great, I especially laughed at the "times hit on list". Did you start out with both times hit on by girls(and does this mean you have been the subject of multiple girls attention each time?), and times hit on by guys, or was that a quick addition later on? If it was there all along, that would show marvelous forethought. All the best in 2010, safe travels!

I just meant one girl at a time but thanks for believing in me buddy! :). The list actually was created from the beginning. I just threw the guys thing in there for fun never really expecting to enter anything in it... huh, guess i was wrong. So guess marvelous forethought it is! :) Then again I have a times stabbed section as well. I hope that's not forethought!
