Reykjavik, Iceland
I have a few minutes while waiting for a bus to Vik so I thought I would get this post out of the way. I just wanted to say thanks so much all you people who went camping (and those who tried to go and got lost). It was a great weekend and a great send off to this trip. For those who didn´t make it, the campground was on this lake:
For those who did come, here are the photos from my shenanigans with Matt and Jeremy. It was a balmy 15 degrees outside so we thought we would take a little dip in the south Interlakes... They should have called it Snowmelt Lake.
Me, Matt and Jeremy testing the waters.
Me cowering and Jeremy screaming like a little girl as matt Jumps in.
Jeremy continues his 8 year old girl impression.
Me pretending it wasn´t cold at all.
Anyway, I was gonna write some deep message about all the emotions of my last couple days in Calgary, but now that I´m out here, it seems kinda vain. I think I´ll just settle for: it was the easiest, hard thing I´ve ever done.
I´ll be back in touch in a couple days to post about Iceland. Lates!
p.s. they have awesome keyboards here. æ, µ, ð, Ö and € are all rocking the alphabet like it´s 1435. Old English styles baby! I think I saw all that stuff reading Chaucer! Still don´t know how to pronounce them though...
